Basketball Forever Raises $4 Million Series A Round

Basketball Forever, a digital media startup, has raised a $4 million Series A round led by Yolo Investments, an Estonian VC firm focused on gaming and fintech startups.

Other investors who participated included American VC firms Andover Ventures and Astralis Capital Management; GMA Consulting founding partner and Fifth Street Gaming Chief Strategy Officer Seth Young; former Pinnacle Sports CEO Paris Smith; Acies Investments co-founding partner Chris Grove; iGaming Ideas’ David Sargeant; and Avenue H Capital principal Benjie Cherniak.

The company made its North American gaming debut last month through a partnership with daily fantasy platform Dabble that kicked off during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

The game attracted over 10,000 participants, who claimed upwards of 35,000 squares in its inaugural session. The company’s gaming portfolio, which includes V.O.A.T. and Streaker, is also set to expand with upcoming real-money game offerings.

Established in 2015, Basketball Forever has evolved into a leading digital sports media platform.

Despite its initial focus on the Australian market, the platform has a significant following in the United States, with 45 million unique monthly visitors and 4 billion impressions across all social channels in 2023.
